Tay-Sachs is a progressive fatal genetic condition that affects the nerve cells in the brain. Tay-Sachs disease is inherited from your parents' genes. The normal type of Tay-Sachs affects children at a very young age. There are two rare forms of Tay-Sachs. They are juvenile form and late-onset form. Juvenile form occurs at about three-ten years old. Late-onset form occurs in the teenage years. Tay-Sachs is a very deadly disease.
